Here is some information that answers some of our clients and potential clients’ commonly asked questions
Six lines: trucks and buses, including trailers; yellow machines - excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, rollers and cranes; parts for Asian trucks, buses and machinery; ICT equipment for networking, telecoms and surveillance; hardware, electrical and safety supplies including PPE; and electric vehicles. We are a supply business, so everything we list we source, import, land and deliver ourselves rather than broker.
It depends on whether the unit is in stock locally, available in the region, or coming from the factory. In-stock units can be delivered within days. Factory orders run to a lead time we confirm in writing before you commit - we would rather quote a date we can hold than the shortest date we can imagine. Shipping, port handling, clearing and duty are all built into that timeline and into the price we quote.
Yes. Our quotes include shipping, marine insurance, port handling, clearing, duty and statutory compliance, pre-delivery inspection and delivery to your site unless we state otherwise. You should not receive a further bill after the unit arrives. If any element is excluded for a particular order, it is stated on the quotation rather than left to be discovered later.
No - Future Tide sells. Our group company, Waymaker Global Logistics, hires equipment on contract. If you need a machine for the length of a job rather than for a fleet, tell us and we will refer you rather than sell you something you do not need. Waymaker sources its hire fleet through our import channel, so it is the same equipment and the same support either way.
